My name is Shannon Doyle and I am one of the coaches of Encore. Teresa Easler and I are looking forward to seeing you on Zoom in the first Encore Sessions.

You may be feeling a bit anxious about this workshop, especially since you probably don’t know what to expect, or have heard “rumors” from past participants. Please, let me reassure you, it will be 6 full sessions with lots of good learning AND we will have fun.
You can expect there to be some “homework” between the sessions. We strongly recommend that everyone attend each session live. If something comes up and you can’t—we are recording the sessions so you can replay them at your convenience.
  
For the purpose of this course you will be asked to design a 6 to 8 minute speech that you will present to the group throughout the Zoom calls. The topic can be anything you choose; it can be work-related, it can be about a hobby, or even something you feel passionate about. If you have an upcoming meeting, sales pitch, or event that you are speaking at, we suggest you work on that during the course as this is a good opportunity to develop a powerful presentation and put it to good use in a real-life scenario.

Meditation Track
Relax and ground yourself as I guide you through this 8-minute meditation. I learned the Sufi five-breath clearing meditation about 40 years ago and it quickly became one of my go-to's. I find it to be amazing for energizing, focusing, and bringing oneself back into their own power. One of the biggest issues facing all businesses is commoditization. To move away from commoditization means becoming a problem and solution expert as opposed to a product and service expert. Using the Hierarchy of Business worksheet, you’ll be able to focus on the problem you solve (whether it’s in your own business or company) which will enable you to enter a competition free zone. Upon completing this exercise, you’ll be able to say that 1. you understand this problem, 2. You know this problem better than anybody, and 3. That you have a solution for your prospects. This mindset and knowledge will put you light years ahead of your competition.
