Welcome to the Bravo Mini Course!

We're very excited you decided to join us. This Bravo mini-course is designed for your immediate communication improvements.

In Lesson 1, we're starting off with language, and more specifically, weasel words and why you'll want to eliminate them from your vocabulary.

In Lesson 2, we'll get into the hierarchy of language, which tells us that there is deeper meaning, deeper connection and a different type of energy behind each word.

In Lesson 3, you'll watch Teresa explain what it means to listen. To really listen and connect with your audience.

In Lesson 4, learn to have a fierce conversations and come to agreements on both ends. You'll learn to finalize your conversations in a civilized matter where your clients will be happy and satisfied.

We hope you enjoy these lessons!

Lesson 1: Language Part 1 - Weasel Words & How To Eliminate Them

In the first lesson, we're talking all about weasel words, including what they are and how to eliminate them.
We'll draw some distinctions between different words so you can be more intentional on the language choices you make, you’ll have alternative ways of speaking to get better results, and I’ll also give you a process of changing your use of language.

Lesson 2: Language Part 2 - The Hierarchy of Language

In lesson 2, we're talking about the hierarchy of language, including:
  • Control - Manage - Master
  • Think - Believe - Know
  • Achieving/Succeeding vs Allowing
  • Have To - Get To
  • "How many" - "Raise your hand if"
By understanding the hierarchy of language, you will be able to choose different words to create a different reality and outcomes.
Remember to be patient with yourself. There is no perfection here, and making progress above all will make all the difference!

Lesson 3: Listening & How To Be a Better Listener

Listening is one of the most essential communication skills.
The most common frustration that comes from executives and leaders is that their team members are not good listeners.
In this lesson, you'll learn to understand what listening is and you will understand the differences between:
  • Listening vs hearing
  • Listening to respond vs listening to understand
  • Being interested vs being interesting

Lesson 4: How To Have Challenging Conversations

At the best of times, we don’t like to have those tough conversations, whether in business or personally. Yet we all have to be able to speak directly, honestly, and to make our views known, in a good way.
I’m going to provide guidance on having challenging conversations in three different scenarios. Each of the scenarios that I’ll be sharing with you will be focused on business, but they are applicable to personal conversation too.
Learn what the CARDINAL RULE of every challenging situation is!
