We process information about you where it is in our legitimate interests to do so and not overridden by your rights (for example, in some cases for direct marketing, fraud prevention, network and information systems security, responding to your communications, the operation of networks of groups by the network administrators, and improving our Platform).

3.1 Through Your Participation In Connect To The Core® Programs

Some information, such as name, company, and contact information, will be visible to other members of the Connect To The Core® group/programs. We ask that if you do not want to share your contact information with your group, please contact [email protected].

3.2 With Our Service Providers
We may use service providers in connection with operating and improving the Platform to assist with certain functions, such as payment processing, email transmission, conducting surveys or contests, data hosting, managing our ads, and some aspects of our technical and customer support. We take measures to ensure that these service providers access, process, and store information about you only for the purposes we authorize, subject to confidentiality obligations.

3.3 Following The Law And Protecting Connect To The Core®
We may access, preserve, and disclose information about you to third parties, including the content of messages, if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, applicable law, regulation, legal process, or audits. We may also disclose information about you if we believe that your actions are inconsistent with our Terms of Service or related guidelines and policies, or if necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of, or prevent fraud or abuse of, Connect To The Core® or others.

If Connect To The Core® is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of our assets, information about you may be shared, sold, or transferred as part of that transaction. 4. Additional Details

  • Connect To The Core® is based in and governed by Canadian law, and we will be processing, transferring, and storing information in Canada.

  • This Privacy Policy is periodically updated and does not apply to third parties.
  • Workshop sessions monitoring: Connect To The Core® may monitor and record your workshop sessions for quality assurance and staff training purposes. These recordings are voluntary and you are not required to participate in them.

4.1 Analytics And Advertising Services Provided By Others
With your permission, we may allow others to use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, and other technologies to collect information about your use of the Connect To The Core® website and other websites and online services. 4.2 Safeguarding
Connect To The Core® takes all feasible and reasonable precautions to protect the personal information that we collect from you. Every staff member must sign a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement wherein he/she agrees not to improperly use and/or disclose any personal information about clients or other individuals who have contacted Connect To The Core ®. Also, your personal information is retained in a secure database, which is only accessible by password and is protected by the use of firewalls.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your information, we will either delete or anonymize it. We retain personal information collected from you when you request information, register an account, apply for a workshop, and/or order a product online for a period of 15 years thereafter.

4.3 Policy Scope
This Privacy Policy does not apply to information that you provide to third parties, such as other participants in Connect To The Core® Programs. Our website may direct you to a third-party service, such as social media services, or a portion of our website may be controlled by a third party (typically through the use of a frame or pop-up window separate from other content on our Platform). Disclosure of information to these third parties is subject to the relevant third party’s privacy policy. We are not responsible for the third-party privacy policy or content, even if we link to those services from our website or if we share information with these third parties.

4.4 Revisions To This Policy
We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will provide notice to you by publishing the most current version on our Platform at www.connecttothecore.com/privacy and revising the date at the top of this page. If we make any material change to this policy, we will provide additional notice to you, such as by sending you an email or displaying a prominent notice on our Platform.

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over those other websites. 4.6 How Do We Use And Store Personal Information You Provide To Us When You Request Information, Register An Account, And/Or Order Products Online?
We will maintain your personal information in a secure database. We do not use the information in the database for any purposes other than facilitating your future orders, or to permit us to notify you of products, services, workshops, and features offered by Connect To The Core®. We do not store your credit card numbers or expiry dates in our database. Consequently, each time you choose to purchase an item, your name and shipping address will be pulled from the database, but you will have to re-enter your credit card information to complete the order.

4.7 Our Policy Regarding Sharing and Accessing Your Personal Information
Connect To The Core® does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer the personal information you provide to us to third parties. We may allow authorized third-party service providers access to your personal information to perform services on our behalf. Our service providers are required to provide privacy protection comparable to ours and to limit their use of such information to providing services on our behalf. These service providers may be in another country, such as the United States, and the personal information may be subject to disclosure in accordance with the applicable laws of that jurisdiction, which may create a different privacy regime from your country of residence.

5. Your Choices

5.1 Your Choices: Opting Out Of Receiving Communications From Us
If you do not wish to receive communications from Connect To The Core®, you can opt out of receiving such communications by following the instructions in each such communication. It may take up to ten days to process a request received by email or telephone, and six to eight weeks to process a request received by mail. If you change your mind and would like to start receiving communications from us again, you can do so by emailing us at [email protected].

5.2 Your Choices: Cookies
We may use and allow others to use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, and other technologies to collect information about your use of the Platform and other websites and online services. 5.3 Some Information About The Use Of Cookies On Our Website
Our website uses per-session cookies, which are commonly used tools to facilitate the exchange of information between your browser and our server. These cookies allow us to present, and you to view, certain graphic elements on the website. Per-session cookies are stored in memory while you are visiting the website and are set to expire from your cache 120 days after leaving our website.

The per-session cookies do not provide our website with access to anything else on your system, including private information about you. Our website can only retrieve the per-session cookie.   • The name of your Internet Service Provider, its Internet Protocol address, and the name of your Service Provider’s server. (Connect To The Core® makes no attempt to link these addresses with the identity of visitors to our website.)
  • The length of each visit.
  • The number of requests per visit.
  • Your type of operating system, e.g., Windows, Mac, Unix, etc.
  • Your browser type, e.g., Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer, etc.

The information is collected by the server in an aggregate format so that we can assess those pages that are most frequented by visitors of our site. We do not link this information with the identity of any visitor to our website, to any of the information you voluntarily provide when you visit our site, or when you become a participant in our Programs. Accordingly, Connect To The Core® will treat any information shared between your browser and our server as non-personal information.

5.4 Your Choices: Promotional Communications
You can control messages that you receive from Connect To The Core®, other members, and third parties by selecting the unsubscribe link in the message that you receive. We will also send you a link to these settings when you first sign up and in subsequent messages. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional messages, such as those about our ongoing business relations.
